The projects were selected under the<strong> Innovation Fund 2024 \u2013 Net-Zero<\/strong> <strong>Technologies <\/strong>call and are entering the implementation phase. <strong>Among the 54 approved projects, not a single one is implemented in the Czech Republic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selected projects cover<strong> 17 Member States and 17 industrial sectors<\/strong>, including energy-intensive industries (cement, lime, refineries, chemical industry), renewable energy sources, the production of components for clean technologies and zero-emission mobility in air, maritime and road transport. Once operational, the projects should prevent approximately<strong> 210 million tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions<\/strong> in the first ten years.<\/p>\n<p>Historically, <strong>Czechia&#8217;s&nbsp;involvement<\/strong> in the Innovation Fund has been limited. <strong>So far, only three Czech projects have succeeded<\/strong> (green hydrogen, battery thermal management and flat glass furnace).
