{"id":20255,"date":"2026-04-21T17:14:52","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T15:14:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cbcsd.cz\/?p=20255"},"modified":"2026-04-21T17:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T15:24:09","slug":"translation-of-the-pact-methodology-for-calculating-and-exchanging-product-carbon-footprints-into-czech-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cbcsd.cz\/en\/translation-of-the-pact-methodology-for-calculating-and-exchanging-product-carbon-footprints-into-czech-published\/","title":{"rendered":"Translation of the PACT Methodology for Calculating and Exchanging Product Carbon Footprints into Czech Published"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Under the licence of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (<strong>\u201cWBCSD\u201c<\/strong>), the Czech BCSD arranged for the translation of one of the most important global GHG emission standards <strong>PACT Methodology &#8211; Methodology for Calculating and Exchanging Cradle-to-Gate Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs), version 3.0 <\/strong>(<strong>\u201cPACT Methodology\u201c<\/strong>) into Czech. At its core, it combines methodological guidance with technical interoperability via the guidance for product carbon footprint accounting and technical specifications that allow different digital solutions to exchange emissions data securely and in a standardized format. The PACT Methodology in Czech is availlable for downloading at this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbcsd.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/pact-methodology-v3.0_CZ-Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The PACT Methodology developed by PACT (Partnership for Carbon Transparency) initaitive has been developed <strong>as practical framework for calculating and exchanging emission data on products (physical products and services) across value chains<\/strong>.
