It is expected to deliver tangible benefits for both industry and EU citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The key element of the agreement is the<strong> alignment of timelines<\/strong>, with the application date of the revised CLP regulation extended to <strong>1 January 2030<\/strong>, ensuring consistency across the <strong>three major legislative frameworks<\/strong> concerned. This provides companies with greater legal certainty and more time to adapt.<\/p>\n<p>The targeted amendments address <strong>compliance costs and reporting obligations<\/strong>, notably by simplifying labelling requirements and improving formatting rules, while reinforcing safeguards for hazardous substances.
