The review concerns the <strong>Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation <\/strong>(<strong>\u201cSFDR\u201d<\/strong>) and aims to reduce administrative burdens while helping investors better understand and compare sustainability-related financial products. The Position is available at this <a href=\"https:\/\/data.consilium.europa.eu\/doc\/document\/ST-10495-2026-INIT\/en\/pdf\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The updated SFDR framework is intended to make sustainability disclosures <strong>clearer, simpler and more comparable<\/strong>. The current SFDR requires financial market participants to disclose how they integrate <strong>ESG sustainability risks and adverse impacts<\/strong> into their investment products.<\/p>\n<p>A major change proposed by the review is the introduction of <strong>three new product categories<\/strong>: <strong>sustainable<\/strong>, <strong>transition<\/strong> and <strong>ESG basics<\/strong>.
