The Amendment finalises the implementation of disclosure requirements introduced by the third amendment to the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR3) and forms part of the EU\u2019s broader simplification efforts. The Amendment is available at this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eba.europa.eu\/sites\/default\/files\/2026-06\/96e1c806-c918-460c-bc8b-4e547b0d85e6\/Final%20report%20on%20Draft%20ITS%20on%20amended%20disclosure%20requirements%20for%20ESG%20risks%2C%20equity%20exposures%20and%20aggregate%20exposure%20to%20shadow%20banking%20entities.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The updated ITS aim to streamline disclosure requirements, improve usability and ensure greater consistency across the regulatory framework. They are aligned with the <strong>European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)<\/strong> and with the EBA\u2019s draft ITS on ESG reporting requirements, which are currently under consultation. The EBA also highlights the link between <strong>ESG supervisory reporting<\/strong> and the <strong>Pillar 3 disclosure framework<\/strong>. Stakeholders are encouraged to read the Pillar 3 disclosures together with the related consultation paper to understand the overall ESG framework and provide informed feedback.<\/p>\n<p>A key aspect of the amendment is <strong>proportionality and simplification<\/strong>. For large institutions, the requirements are simplified through a <strong>\u201ccore plus supplement\u201d approach<\/strong>, calibrated to the size and complexity of institutions.
