The Czech BCSD has published its position paper on the proposed European Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA), which aims to accelerate the decarbonization of industry, strengthen the competitiveness of European manufacturers, and streamline permitting processes for strategic industrial projects. The document focuses primarily on low-emission products, public procurement, and permitting procedures, and highlights the need for clearer rules, a uniform methodology, and greater use of digital product passports, which can contribute to a more transparent and efficient functioning of European industry during the green transition.
