On 28 October 2026, the European Commission greenlighted Czechia’s seventh and final payment request of EUR 951 million under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), the centrepiece of NextGenerationEU.

The endorsement of the final request represents an important step in the completion of Czechia’s recovery and resilience plan. The RRF is the central instrument of NextGenerationEU, linking EU financial support to the implementation of the relevant reforms and investments.

The Commission’s latest decision concerns EUR 951 million and represents Czechia’s seventh payment request, which the Commission identifies as the country’s final request under the plan.
