What changes lie ahead for European industry, and what will they mean for Czech companies?

At the second meeting of the Czech Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Industrial Transformation working group on 15 October, we will focus on topics that will significantly shape business operations in the coming years:

⚙️ decarbonisation and industrial transformation
📑 public procurement
🔋 digital battery and product passports

Joining the discussion:

  • 👤 Jan Dusík, European Commission’s DG CLIMA, who will present the latest developments in decarbonisation and industrial transformation,
  • 👤 Jana Jíchová, European Commission’s DG GROW, who will focus on upcoming changes to public procurement and their impact on businesses,
  • 👤 Johannes Simböck, BatteryPass-Ready / acatech, who will explain the practical implementation of digital battery and product passports.

The discussion will focus primarily on what the new European framework means for the competitiveness, investments and day-to-day operations of Czech companies, and what they will need to prepare for.
