Our association launched its Czech BCSD Academy (“Academy”) last week and offered its regular members four practical training courses for spring 2026: (1) GHG Protocol Corporate Emissions; (2) PACT Methodology Product Emissions, (3) VSME Basic Module (EFRAG); and (4) VSME Comprehensive Module (EFRAG). These are areas that are increasingly affecting the functioning of companies today, their position in supply chains and their long-term competitiveness and resilience. This offer continues Czech BCSD’s efforts to support its members in managing risks and opportunities in the area of measured sustainability based on quality data and good practice. The courses combine seminar lectures with practical workshops and emphasize the application of knowledge to specific business practice, terminological accuracy and links to European and national regulations. They also include an interactive form of teaching that supports a deeper understanding of the context. Graduates will receive a certificate of completion of the training issued by the Czech BCSD as part of the WBCSD network.

The strength of this offer lies in the professional background of the Czech BCSD. The Czech BCSD is a partner association of the WBCSD and participates in making key methodologies available in the Czech environment, including through the translation of the corporate standard GHG Protocol, the PACT Methodology and entries into the VSME digital template in Czech, as well as indirectly by participating in the activities of EFRAG in the area of sustainability reporting (through Lenka Mynářová). Thanks to this, the Academy connects international good practice with the current regulatory and business context in Czechia.
