The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Istanbul, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, invites Czech companies, experts, and academics to participate in a sector-specific business mission to Turkey focused on the circular economy and sustainable resource management. The mission will take place on October 6–7, 2026, in Istanbul and the surrounding area.

The mission’s goal is to present Czech solutions and technologies to Turkish partners, assess their needs, and identify specific opportunities for cooperation. The program will include meetings with Turkish institutions, companies, and other relevant partners, providing opportunities for B2B networking, the exchange of experiences, and the exploration of opportunities for joint projects.

Mission Focus

The mission is intended primarily for companies and organizations operating in the following areas:

• the circular economy and waste management,
• technologies for waste sorting, processing, and recycling,
• material recovery and recycling of industrial waste,
• the reuse of materials and products and the extension of their life cycles,
• ecodesign and sustainable manufacturing,
• efficient use of materials and natural resources,
• clean and environmental technologies,
• water management and efficient use of water resources,
• reducing the carbon and material intensity of industry,
• digitalization and smart solutions for monitoring and managing material flows,
• science, research, and innovation in the field of the circular economy.

The mission is intended for both established companies with specific technologies and solutions, as well as research and academic institutions interested in collaborating with Turkish partners.
