Flip the Switch: Turning on Energy Efficiency in Buildings |

6 May – Peter Bakker joined another 40 CEOs who have signed, “Business proposals in view of a 2015 international climate change agreement at COP 21 in Paris.” These proposals are meant to inspire collaboration between high-level leaders to reach an international agreement on climate at COP21 in Paris this December. Last month, the World Economic Forum released an open letter to all world leaders. 43 CEOs, with operations in over 150 countries, urged national governments to agree on ambitious climate action at COP21 this December. In 2015, the World Economic Forum ranked water crises as the greatest societal risk of the coming decade. Between April 12-17 2015 in the Republic of Korea, WBCSD participated in the 7th World Water Forum, where close to 30,000 people collaborated to address water-related issues.
